
Services Provided to Families
The following learning opportunities and technical assistance activities are offered to families by the Florida Inclusion Network. Please contact your FIN facilitator for more information on how you can take advantage of these and other learning opportunities.
Family Assistance
The Florida Inclusion Network provides information to families about:
- Practices that support students with disabilities who are included in general education classroom/school settings and participation in the general education curriculum
- Effectively communicating and collaborating with your child’s school
- Other projects/agencies that may provide useful information or services
Training on Family FACT Folios
FIN Facilitators provide individual and groups of families with training focused on the Family F.A.C.T. Folio series.
Topics include:
Individual Student Planning
FIN Facilitators can provide families with support for individual student planning activities including facilitating person-centered planning processes (e.g., PATH, Circle of Friends) and collaborating with school teams to identify practices that will support the implementation of the student’s Individual Educational Plan (IEP).
