FIN Services

Accessing Services from the Florida Inclusion Network (FIN)

The mission of the Florida Inclusion Network (FIN) is to provide learning opportunities, consultation, information and support to educators, parents, and community members resulting in the inclusion of all students.

The Florida Inclusion Network project is funded with Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA), Part B discretionary dollars through the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services. Our work is aligned with the Florida Department of Education's Next Generation Strategic Plan and Florida's Part B State Performance Plan (SPP).

FIN provides targeted professional learning opportunities and technical assistance that result in:

  • systemic (district-wide and/or school-wide) changes to the way schools plan for, support, teach, and assess all students with disabilities, and
  • building the capacity of districts and schools to sustain initiatives related to inclusion.

FIN uses the Plan/Do/Check/Act Cycle to guide our work with schools and districts. (Click the diagram below for a description of this process.)
