FCRSTEM's mission is to help the State of Florida improve K-12 teaching and learning and prepare students for higher education and STEM careers in the 21st Century. Located in Tallahassee, FL, the center is jointly operated by the FSU College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Education and the Learning Systems Institute in the Office of the Provost. The Center’s Director is Dr. Harold Kroto, a Nobel Laureate in Chemistry and ardent advocate of K-12 science education worldwide.
