Comprehensive course frameworks Course frameworks specify standards to be taught at specific grade levels (K-8) or in specific courses (e.g., algebra, geometry). They are tools for districts to use in planning instruction and selecting textbook and other instructional materials. FCR-STEM will revise existing course frameworks after adoption of revised math and science standards. More specifically, the center will

  • obtain feedback from teachers and district staff on the usefulness of existing course frameworks and how they can be improved
  • align the state’s course frameworks with the state’s revised math and science standards with the assistance of Florida teachers and district staff.
